Soft Tissue Sarcoma Vaccine
A new fully funded trial for a vaccine for soft tissue sarcoma is now looking for suitable dogs for participation. There is only 18 spots available as this is a world first cancer treatment research trial in conjunction with Curtin University.
The tumour must be visible from the outside. Your dog must not have had previous surgery, chemotherapy or radiation.
Diagnosis of soft tissue sarcoma from a fine need aspirate is acceptable as further histopathology can be done for confirmation. The trial requires six vaccines over two weeks and frequent check ups as required by the oncologist.
